The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild
After Nintendo decided that the old Legend of Zelda games needed to be brought up to date, they went in a completely different way with Breath of the Wild. For fans who were afraid that the game wouldn’t stay true to what made Zelda such a beloved adventure series, Breath of the Wild smashed those hopes and set the standard for what open-world games should be.
The main game in Breath of the Wild is already a fun task, but there are two extra content packs that are also pretty fun. There’s no doubt that The Champions’ Ballad DLC is the more interesting of the two. However, diehard game fans will also enjoy The Master Trials.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Smash Bros. is known for its high-profile DLCs, which add new characters with their own moves, as well as OSTs, stages, and other things that go with them. This golden rule is also true for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which is especially amazing since the roster in the base game was already pretty full from the start!
What an amazing number of well-known characters have been added to the game, from the Joker to Sephiroth. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is one of the best games in the series for showing off how fun it is to control your favorite video game characters and use their many powerful moves to beat their opponents.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Many people thought that the last game in the series didn’t do a great job of following up on the first game’s greatness, but Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was a return to form for the series. The good news is that all of these problems were solved when the third game came out, which was a great example of what this series does well.
The Future Redeemed DLC is a great way for fans to spend time with the series’ old characters and learn more about the world’s history if they didn’t get enough from the main story. The Xenoblade series has become very popular very quickly, and this DLC is just what fans want.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Animal Crossing: New Horizons couldn’t have come out at a better time, since players needed a way to deal with the stress of a pandemic. People could unwind while decorating their virtual island and spending time with their friends through the game.
Even though New Horizons didn’t get the attention it earned after it came out, that doesn’t mean that its DLC wasn’t fun to play. People who played Happy Home Paradise could make amazing vacation homes that pushed their imagination to the limit.
Pokemon Sword & Shield
Pokemon Sword & Shield is without a doubt one of the worst video games ever made. Fans finally got the changes they wanted in the game, but technology problems and what seemed like a lack of effort kept it from being a great addition to the series.
Luckily, Sword & Shield’s DLCs knew what made the game fun and built on its strengths, even though they were only a few short episodes long. The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra are both fun to explore on their own, and people who already own them should get them.
Monster Hunter Rise
Monster Hunter Rise keeps up the great tradition that these games have set when it comes to letting players get lost in huge fantasy worlds with amazing ecosystems. A big part of what makes these games so fun is using smart methods to hunt down huge monsters.
The Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak DLC is a great way to spend more time with this game, and it’s just as fun and interesting as most people would expect. The DLC makes Eggy Car harder and makes sure that players have the right gear to fight these monsters.
Cuphead
The long wait for a Cuphead DLC was well worth it when it finally came out. It’s easy to see why this extra content took so long, even though it’s not that long, given how long it took to get the motions right in the main game.
The Delicious Last Course is about as hard as most people would expect it to be. Players need to be quick on their feet to deal with all the enemies that come their way. It’s a great way to end one of the most beautiful and interesting independent games out there.
