Various Pokémon (Pokémon)
Pokémon use a wide range of weapons based on their type and where they live. Ground and Rock types live in caves, mountains, and deserts. There are so many of them that it’s hard to make a list of them all. Some well-known ones are the Sandshrew, the Diglet, the Geodude, and their evolved forms. The skills they can learn are what binds them all together.
Sand moves are one of these. The most well-known are Sand Attack and Sandstorm. The first one throws sand at opponents, which makes them less accurate. The second one calls up a storm that hurts Pokémon of the opposite type. Even though these moves don’t hurt as directly as Rock-based moves, they still work.
The Prince (Prince Of Persia)
This one should be easy to see. Since “sand” is in the name of half of the Prince of Persia games, it makes sense that it plays a part in the story. But this time, the sand is amazing.
Come into the Sands of Time. This made-up material has the power to corrupt living things and turn them into horrible monsters. Players of Prince of Persia don’t use it that way, which is good. Instead, the Prince uses the Sands and things that are related to them to mess with time. He has the power to freeze enemies in place, turn back time, and see different worlds in his mind. The way these gifts work is different from most sand skills, but they still get the job done.
Kirby (Kirby: Return To Dream Land Deluxe)
The pink icon’s abilities can be changed. In that way, they depend on what (or who) he breathes in. He could get a sword and armor, or he could just spit fireballs. It makes sense that using sand would come up at some point.
That time comes in the Deluxe version of Return to Dream Land. Here, Kirby takes in the scaly enemies of Sandra. After that, he can make fists and use sand waves. He can even make forts out of sand. The only bad thing is that you have to swallow it. It is never a good idea to have sand in your mouth.
Link (The Legend Of Zelda)
The famous hero of The Legend of Zelda gets new skills based on the tools he finds, just like Kirby. The Sand Rod is one of these. In The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, Link finds this. With this magical tool, he can move things around and call up sand mountains from the ground. These powers are mostly used to solve puzzles and move around on platforms, not to fight.
These ideas are expanded upon in A Link Between Worlds. In this game, the explorer can flatten out and merge with the walls, which is a new way to move around. The sand columns he calls up are one of the things he can fuse with. In essence, he changes his size so that he is the salty material. This is a whole new level of sand skills.
Serpci (Luigi’s Mansion 3)
This negative character in Luigi’s Mansion 3 clearly has an Egyptian feel to her. Of course Serpci has sand skills, and he is very good at shaping the stuff. She can shape it into a shield or display a huge head of herself, like in “The Mummy.” It’s not just her, though.
Serpci can also give these skills to her servants. He quickly gathers a group of sand snakes. Not the ones from Game of Thrones; these work a million times better. Based on how spitting cobras work, these snakes can shoot Luigi with strange sand. His vacuum will need to be bigger, of course.
Kukri (King Of Fighters)
There are many fighters from all walks of life in the King of Fighters series, but Kukri got the short end of the stick in this case. He grew up in a desert country on rough streets. For some reason, he can’t keep his sand skills in check, and they kill his mentor, Dolores. His anger and guilt push him to get better at these things.
Because of this, Kukri is a very dangerous enemy in King of Fighters. He builds sandy ramps to get into the air, which sets off a series of strikes from above. Besides that, he can make a huge pile of sand fall on an enemy. The most amazing thing about him is that he can make clones to attack enemies with sand. This skill more than makes up for his past mistakes.
Kan-Ra (Killer Instinct)
Since both Kan-Ra and Kukri come from fighting games, it’s not a surprise that they move in the same way. According to the Killer Instinct character, a Babylonian king cursed him and said that he would always be a living corpse. Egypt and Babylon both have a reputation for being sandy, so the zombie has a lot of tricks that use that.
With these skills, Kan-Ra stands out as a fighter in Wordle Unlimited. He puts sand traps all over the field. Some of them have spikes and scorpions in them. Besides that, he can also send soil waves through the area. If that doesn’t work, he can always destroy himself by turning into sand and hurting everyone nearby. Many people think of sand as weak and bendy, but Kan-Ra makes it very dangerous to touch.
