Description of Mimi Orjiekwe’s legal battle with billionaire Michael Diongoli

Reports circulated that Nengi’s Range Rover was confiscated by the Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).

Actress and entrepreneur Mimi Orjiekwe has revealed details about her ongoing dispute with the troubled billionaire Michael Diongoli.

Several months ago, Michael Diongoli was apprehended on charges of fraud, accused of scamming a retired Army colonel and others out of billions.

Diongoli faced eight counts of conspiracy, obtaining funds under false pretenses, and fraud. He was brought before Justice Lewis-Allagoa along with his two firms, UK-Don Group and UK-Dion Investment Limited.

Following his arrest, law enforcement seized numerous properties belonging to the billionaire, including those that he allegedly gifted to his many mistresses, rumored to include BBNaija’s Nengi, Mimi Orjiekwe, Nuella Njubigbo, and Onyi Alex.

Reports circulated that Nengi’s Range Rover was confiscated by the Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).

Diongoli had made allegations against Mimi Orjiekwe after purchasing furniture from her interior decoration business. The actress then visited Okoye police station Special Fraud Unit, with her lawyer revealing that Diongoli had failed to pay a substantial amount for storage and clearance charges.

On her Instagram page, Mimi expressed her dismay over the lies told by someone, presumably Diongoli, who sought to bring her down.

She vowed to speak out eventually but refrained from doing so at the current time due to the ongoing court case.

Despite the allegations, Mimi attested to experiencing an increase in opportunities and blessings, leaving her feeling overwhelmed.

“God sees all!! God knows all!! Few months ago someone told a lie that could destroy my business because he didn’t want to go down alone !! Someday I will speak about it .. (We are still in the court of law)

But the point is. More doors, blessings tripled afterward. Am not noisy if you know me! But am overwhelmed… My Dad told me then to let go and watch God… God bless his soul!! God is great!!”.

In July, Investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo alleged that Mimi Orjiekwe had been arrested by the Nigerian police for a 700 million Naira fraud.

Kemi Olunloyo claimed on her official Twitter account that the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) of the Nigeria police in Ikoyi, Lagos State, had detained the actress for failing to fulfill a contract regarding interior decoration items as per allegations by embattled businessman Michael Diongoli.
