Tagbin | The Company Who Developed The Rashtragaan Campaign

This campaign is a monument to India’s inevitable unity, power, and harmony. The Rashtragaan Campaign website, developed by the Tagbin team in response to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s request, was created to empower Indian citizens to unite in support of the National Anthem. The purpose was to instill a sense of unity and communal connection to the country. Tagbin’s project was created as a tribute to the togetherness found in India’s diversity. Tagbin’s technical expertise proved effective in managing a huge number of recorded videos and expertly displaying them on August 15, 2021. The assembled footage was synchronized to produce a unified national voice singing the Rashtragaan, which was subsequently played at the Red Fort following the Prime Minister’s address. To mark India’s 75th Independence Day on 15 August 2021, more than 2.5 crore Indians recorded and uploaded videos of themselves performing the National Anthem ‘Jana Gana Mana’ on the internet. Indians from 218 countries joined this one-of-a-kind initiative to pay honor to the Nation by singing the Rastragaan together. For successfully submitting the video, each vocalist received a participation certificate.

This has been hailed as India’s largest crowd-sourced endeavor to date. Because of the overwhelming response, this program has been extended by one year beyond August 15, 2021.  Before the inauguration, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi invited the people of the country to sing the National Anthem together in his Mann Ki Baat radio program on July 25.
