Energy efficiency:

Again, it is a fact that LED lights are more energy-saving than any other bulb. Between these two, this feature is based on the lumens used. When more lumens are used, there is greater energy efficiency.

Brightness:

When we talk about lights, the first thing that comes to mind is their brightness. COB LED is brighter. It is because it works with a higher lumen than SMD LED.

What are the Similarities Between COB LED and SMD LED?

We have discussed the vital points of differentiation between these two technologies. But, of course, they are both LED technologies. They have many similarities with each other. Let’s briefly examine these similarities:

The chips of both of these technologies have many diodes present on their surfaces.

Although they vary in quantity, both are brighter and more energy-saving.
